Situation

The Food Bank of Iowa is located in Des Moines, Iowa. This small nonprofit—just 34 employees—works hard to fight hunger all across the state. 

Much of that good work is enabled by their small but mighty fleet of refrigerated vans and trucks. But the costs for the fleet were rising higher than they wanted. 

Solution

Being a nonprofit, every single cost is their #1 pain point. Especially ongoing costs like fleet maintenance. 

Ruan was able to help the nonprofit get expenses under control by finding a lower-cost vehicle than what they were currently using. Now their new vehicles will help them use their budget more wisely and allow them to make deliveries for years to come.
